Membership

The Worthing Christian Network is an informal network of leaders of Worthing area missions, Christian charities and businesses, to provide encouragement and to explore opportunities for collaboration.

Others leading or engaged in Christian mission or community activities wider that their own church will be most welcome to join and will be encouraged to contribute to the sustainable development of this informal Network.

Street Pastors

Local discussions have been in progress for several years on the benefits to the community of establishing a team of street pastors in Worthing (www.streetpastors.org.uk) We are delighted that progress is now being made by a group of church leaders and workers. .

This needs to be a collaborative initiative with the police and Local Borough Council and this is being progressed with a plan to train and start a Street Pastor by the end of 2009
