Welcome.
This pilot website introduces a new informal network for Christians in the Worthing Area who are leading or actively engaged in community service. ecumenical activity, campaigning, communications, charity work, education, business or overseas mission. If you would like to join this network or have any queries please contact Mike Tyler on: info@wcn.org.uk Our Mission: To provide encouragement, prayer support and promotional opportunities for members and their projects, ministries or organisations. To take such initiatives as may be agreed.Our Approach:
1. Meets occasionally
with a theme of common interest or concern
2. Build liaison links/membership with other associations 3. Take such initiatives as may be agreed, to support the mission and to encourage, engage and inform the wider Christian community 4. Encourage sharing of prayer needs and relevant local and international news 5. Encourage the establishment of relational network having specific common interests Meetings: A successful two day Mission Community Festival was held last October, which comprises: Young people workshops and evening gig (Phatfish), prayer breakfast, flag and band parade, exhibition with 30 exhibitors, workshops and films and an evening Mission Community Celebration For full report click here 2010 No formal meetings are planned but work is progressing on possible participation in the Worthing Seafront Parade in August and on a 'Mission Day and Youth Gig in October 2010.
